Google has come out with all sorts on neat tools recently. Here's one that's fun. I doubt it has much practical value for most of us.
Google Trends let's you track volume of searches and news volume on the internet. You can also compare two different searches as well. I put in Camaro and it showed a large spike in January obviously. World Cup showed a dramatic rise. On baseball vs. football you could see the change of seasons...it's skewed though since football is also soccer.
