I had the 2004 edition of the GM SPO repair manual installed on my computer and it worked fine. Then I installed a new hard drive for my o/s & apps and went to re-install everything....now it doesn't work.
What happens is it says that it cant start the apache tomcat service. I think that's why the browser window can't find it. There's supposed to be a server running - I remember before, "apache" would be listed under "processes" in the task manager but now there is no server running. If I go to "services" under administrative tools and click tomcat to start it, it says that it started and then stopped. So I'm at a loss to figure out what is different about my system now than before. I do have the java runtime and ms dotnet installed.
