Well, looks like for the second straight year, my promise to my kids to drive my car in the Memorial Day parade in town are not going to happen.
I've been working on the car for almost two years. I thought I would be able to finish in time, but not going to happen now. Today is my first day off of work since April 19th. I've been in the GoM fighting the oil spill, and it looks like it will be going on for months to come. I'm heading back down for another 3 - 4 weeks next week, so no way it's going to happen now.
Man...anybody have a really big cork lying around???
