I've got an '87 Firebird V6 for sale for PARTS ONLY.. What I mean by this is that I'm selling the WHOLE car WITHOUT the title. I do have the title but the IRS put a lien on it a few years ago and I'm still in the process of getting that resolved. Hence my reason for selling it w/out the title. Whoever does wish to buy it, I would be more than glad to show you the title to prove to you that it is not a stolen vehicle. Please understand that this vehicle can't be titled.
The whole car needs to go in one shot.. The transmission (I beleive it's a 700R4) was only 1 year old when the motor crapped out and the body is perfect. All the glass is perfect. The tires are dry rotted so whomever comes to get it will need to throw on a crappy set to get it rolling. The engine is shot as far as I know.
I could make a few grand selling all the parts on eBay as I've done in the past, but I really don't have the time, the patience, or the the place to store all the parts while they sell.
A few things will be gained here..
1. Someone will be getting a whole parts car in great condition to strip and do with as they see fit.
2. I will be ridding my parents' driveway of it and will be joyous in giving the IRS the finger as I watch the car being towed away by whomever. It hasn't been registered in a few years..or even driven for that matter. It's just been sitting collecting dust.
So, with that said, the 1st $750 takes everything.
