  • Engine Setup...

    Hey everyone,
Ive been thinking about what kind of motor I should put in my 91 RS Convertible for a while. I think I have decided on this:

    GM Perfromance Parts 350 HO
    -4-Bolt Main Hydralic Roller Block
    -Cast Crank/Rods/Pistons
    -Vortec 64cc heads

    Parts to be added:
    -LT4 Hot Cam
-Beehive Valve springs w/ titaninum retainers
    -Self Alinging Steel Roller Rockers
    -ARP Bolts
    -SDPC Vortec TPI Mainifold Base
-Tuned Port Injection w/AFPR & High flow Plenum & Runners

This will be bolted up to a T56 Trans.

I am looking to get 350-400 horses. Car Craft built a very similar motor and got around 400hp, so I think this will be a good engine for what I need it to do. Later down the road I will probably swap the TPI intake for an aftermarket setup with shorter runners. I want the engine to be a rever when I am done. The car will be driven almost everyday during the warmer months. During the winter it gets stored. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
