windshield wiper motor advice

I am going to replace the motor for my windshield wipers. I was thinking of buying a used one off ebay or getting one from a junkyard. I didn’t know if it would be a good idea to get a used one or not since mine went out and the car only had 68 k. Was it just bad luck mine went bad this soon or is that about the lifetime on a wiper motor? They are going for about 20 dollars on ebay so that a lot cheaper then a new one. The other option that I was thinking of is a rebuilt one, I am not sure on the price for a rebuilt motor. Any advice on this will be helpful thanks.
