  • PCM rusty

ok, just as an advice for those who live in rainy areas

    95 formula

i had to remove the PCM in order to run a wire from the engine compartment inside the car, and the slots where the PCM plugs with all the wires go in were all rusty. it wouldnt have been long until water or condensation got inside.
I have cleaned all of them with a wire brush and sand paper , and i have put gasket silicone sealant around the sockets before plugging them back in.

I reccomed you check yours , to avoid having to buy a new PCM.
Anyway my Formula came from Canada and then has spent a few years in a warehouse by the sea in the UK, so very bad weather conditions for a car
