Auto Show In Motion!
Went to the Auto Show in motion yesterday, and boy was it fun! For those of you who dont know what it is, its basically an auto show where they "Give you the keys" and let you drive the newest GM cars on a closed course. Got to drive the GTO after like a 1 Hour wait, but it was pretty fun. I got the manual version of it. The interior wasnt all that great, it just looks a little too plain. But it does however have a really nice exhaust tone, and looks better in person then in pictures. I didnt get too drive it long enough (or fast enough) to really get a feel for it, but I think my Camaros much more fun to drive. I also got to test the Z06 on a speed course, and although they dont let you go past 2nd gear, they still let you gun it as far down as you want. I also drove a Silverado SS on a really curvy course. The AWD really jerks you back when you get on it, and its decent around corners at high speed. The highlight of the day however was driving the H2 Hummer on the Off Road course! They start you off by going up what looks to be a vertical hill, and then back down, then you proceed to another pile of dirt which brings up only one side of the H2. Then its onto to some other mild bumps on the road. But the first 2 obstacle really put you in some wierd positions. If its comming to your area, I highly recommend you guys go. Its free and they even provide you with lunch and refreshments.
