Hows everybody doin. I'm new to the forum. My name is Chris and I just got a 1989 Trans Am. The person who I bought it from didn't take good care of it and now I'm stuck fixin it up. The car would always run shaky and idle high when I would first start it but now when I try to start it up the motor won't stay running. It'll run if I continue giving it gas while I'm parked but as soon as I let off the gas pedal it stalls. I don't think it's the spark plugs or wires. I'm thinkin it might be a clogged fuel filter. But also, while I was disconnecting the battery the power door locks started goin haywire and when I closed my door the trunk motor activated. So now I'm confused. Please help. Any input is helpful.
