Theoretically speaking of course....

Crane 1.6 RR Comp Cams "r" lifters. Initially I turned them down 1/4 turn past Zero using the method described on Shoebox's site. (method #3) It sounds like the lifters are clattering some. Can I just take the covers off and give each rocker nut an additional 1/4 turn or should I start over again from scratch?
