Hey everyone,
I just got back from the boneyard. I picked up a few parts from an LS1 99 Trans am
1)Complete Rear Axle with a 3.23 Posi, Complete 12" Disc brakes
2)Complete front spindles including 12" Rotors, Calipers, Lines, etc.
3)Master cylinder
Anyway, I think I did pretty good for only $300. I am planning on retrofiting these parts onto my third-gen. I already know how to physicaly get these parts to fit on the car, but I am unsure about the diverter valve I need. LS1's use the ABS module as a diverter. I need to find another way to control the flow. I could get an adjustable one, but I have no idea where to even start with that.
