2 quick questions, timing and headlights

Hey guys just a quick 2 questions.. what is the proper timing for a normally aspired 305 TBI in a 1987 Trans Am.. 7* TDC ?? and how do you remove the headlight assembley.. the 2 bolts? on the top and side? or am i missing something..
