Finally moved on from the dealer after that last quote

I've been taking my 2021 X6 to the agency since I bought it but honestly the last service quote made my eyes water. They wanted nearly 6 grand for what looked like just basic fluids, filters, and a "check everything" line item. A friend told me to look at independent specialists because apparently some of them use the same diagnostic equipment and OEM parts but without the fancy coffee machine markup. I found a place that offers Best-in-Class Premium BMW Care and decided to give them a shot for an oil change and inspection just to test the waters. The guy actually took time to show me the old parts, explained what needed attention now versus what could wait, and the invoice was less than half of what the dealer wanted for basically the same work. I'm not saying I'll never go back to the agency but for routine maintenance this just makes more sense. Anyone else made the switch and regretted it or are most people pretty happy saving the cash? The car is still under warranty so I'm keeping that in mind too, don't wanna void anything important.
