    they are excellent cars. some folks are "just not vet people" . im one...we had a 76 for a long time...sold it before we moved back here to VA from TX in 90. Mary drove it, or it sat. dont know what it is, im just not a corvette person... like i said, they are awesome cars...

      I had always wanted a Corvette before I bought my first new one in 86 so I understand how you feel. I bought another new one in 89 as well. But believe it or not I like my 2000 Camaro better. Corvettes are not very practical cars whereas at least the fbodies have a rear seat and a trunk.

        I have to say that I am a Vette person. I love the handling with the IRS. There are a couple that I had that I really miss, although there are a few that I don't miss at all. My two favorites were my 93 40th Convertible and my 95 ZR-1. The 93 was an awesome top down cruiser, the 95 was a bruiser with good cruising manners. I haven't had a C5 yet, but if all goes well a C6 Z06 will be in the stable within a few years.
