According to the dealer I stopped at today, they said the GTO was just added to the list as of today. Anyone else heard this?

If you go to this web site http://www.gm.com/valuepromise.do?cm...ect&brandId=ld which is off the www.gmbuypower.com web site you can look up the employee price on the 2005 GTO. This wasn't available before, so my bet says the dealer is correct.2005 GTO (mine) K&N CAI and Magnaflow exhaust, drilled and slotted rotors, and other minor mods.

nobody on the gto forum has said anything about it, and thats a busy board, hundreds of posts going on all the time, its also a b*tchy board, about gm, pricing, dealers, etc. ill keep an eye out for ya.

Holden knows what they are doing...with the exceptions of a few little "pontiac" things that poncho wouldnt let Holden hook up..this car does it all.
the American public is judging thier opinion of this car on the looks........ which... is a pretty stupid thing to do. all the mags are ranting about it now......and it's performance compared to cars costing much much more.....

Personally, I love the GTO, and would buy one in a heartbeat. It only took a test drive this past spring to convince me this car is unreal. The interior is one of the nicest in ANY car, let alone one with 400 horses.... And for the price.
The one thing people tend to complain about with the GTO, is the plain, vanilla looks. True, it's not nearly as aggressive looking as the Trans Am or Corvette, but I don't think it has to be. The original GTO wasn't aggressive in the looks department by any means... Not until the late 60's anyway.
