That's great! I hope you guys can save many animals. It's a shame that the people down there aren't trying to help out. I understand (although I never really can understand what they are going through) that they are having an extremely tough time...the hardest of their lives...but like you said Ken, being the dominant race, we need to help out animals and their preservation.

My question is this...

Has anyone heard anything about PETA??? It seems like the only time I've read about them in the news was when they protested by dressing up like cows, or when they dumped red paint on people wearing fur. If they really cared about animals, wouldn't they be down there getting dirty and trying to first handedly rescue all those animals down there?

I could be, and hope I am wrong about this...but I've heard nothing thus far about them trying to help

Most of them don't really care about animals. They just love being in a protest somewhere. If you asked a good many of those same people to go somewhere to rescue animals, and it probably wouldn't give any press, they would have something else that suddenly came up. I can't stand that organization.
