Why haven't gas prices dropped?

In our area and all across the country we are still pushing just under $3.00 a gallon for regular at the pump. I am getting tired of "granny shifting" my 6 speed SS to help boost the mileage in my car which requires high test at over $3.00! And I find it rather humorous when I see regular gas for $2.79 a gallon and now think it is a "bargain". And yesterday I had to put gas in my boat at the Marina and it is still $3.35 per gallon for regular.

Last night, George Bush said the pipelines were all back to normal in Louisiana.........so what gives here???

I wonder if it will ever go below $2.50 again for regular.

I saw $2.59 for regular this morning in severalplaces. Part of that is due to no state $.15 tax too.

The cheapest here is $2.96 for regular. ...and, I live about 15 miles from a refinery.

Oh, and the kicker! The yahoo who runs the station near where I live who sells E85 bumped the price up to $3.06. It is $2.00 at a station 15 miles east. I am trying to figure out why ethanol was bumped up??????

$2.95 regular, $3.15 Premium. That's the cheapest in my area I've seen so far.

I noticed that down your way on the way to Colonial Beach last weekend. They haven't moved a bit up here.
