No water since saturday morning.

The power company hit a water main Saturday, said there won't be water until Monday. Well that has come and gone, It's Tuesday and they are digging it out with backhoes. At least I have a well and pump for the irrigation system. Gotta carry buckets into the house for the toilets, take cold driveway showers...... that one is the bitter one. Cold water from down deep. brrrr.......My poor kid was shivering this morning.

cant you boil a pot of water then add it to the bucket to warm the existing cold water up?

Life can be a b!#ch sometimes. Do what wolfie says and boil some water and add it to some cold water. I've had a water heater go south before. Cold showers bite! Whenever crap like this happens, I just remind myself of those who are hunting their food with a spear and drinking water from the nearest river, and then it puts things into perspective very quickly.
