I honestly can say I have never wanted a Mustang. I've liked a few Fox Bodies Ive seen but wouldn't own one. I've always been a Camaro/Firebird girl. Even though I've wanted a V8 I decided to settle for a V6 for now

You are into cars. I may be generalizing here, but it just seems to me that MOST Mustang owners aren't as into cars as F-body owners are. It's almost as if they own a Mustang just to own a rear wheel drive V8. Again, I don't mean to stereotype. There are people I know that own nice Mustangs and are very into their respective cars, but they even admit it's a small minority of Mustang owners that love what they have.

But the same can be said about some F-body owners. Also, don't forget the "cute" and "its a Mustang" factors. Around here, it seems those are the 2 driving factors for people to buy mudstains...and V6s at that. Kinda makes it nice when they are suddenly impressed with F-body power after riding with me .

True. There are F-body owners who just own them because they are fast and look good. It just seems there are more F-body owners who have them because they love owning them as opposed to Rust-ang owners. Again, I don't want to generalize. Just what it seems like in this area anyway...

Ya keep her. As long as she does not ask you to let her barrow your car.lol... Naturally most girls with those rust-stangs dont know crap about them. Its funny when im on the road and girls/guys get cooky and try to out-run me, and when they realize that all they see is my rear bumper with my "Z28" exhaust tip, they ask me, "what do u have" and i say stock, so i ask them, "what is it, the 4.6 or the 5.0," and they respond with, "its a GT."
