  • Do you use your seat belt?

I'm curious how many of us use our seatbelt and how often. There is no need to reply to this message to explain why you do or don't. I don't want anyone getting ridiculed. Just anonymously answer the poll and no one needs to know your seatbelt views. I'll occasionally bump the thread to the top.

It's a complete habit - I don't even think about it. I feel naked without it -- doesn't matter how long or short the trip is. If there is a belt, I use it.

I put mine on even if i back the car out of the garage, just a habit. I won't even move the car till everyone in there has one on. And while I'm sorry to hear about your friend seatbelts really do save many many lives when it comes to collisions, please keep that in mind.

if you havent guesed from my screen name i am of a rather large build so i also find the belts very unconftible as well. and i should rephrase my last post as i do wear my belt if i am in my firebird as i know it can bite if i get it wrong but i never use the ones in the semi trucks i drive at work it is just a bad habbit that i got into a long time ago

I was taught at a very young age that the car doesn't move until I'm strapped in. Just how I am. I have several OCD's, and that is just one.

I know I should, but I don't if I am just in town. If I get on the highway I will put it on....sometimes.

I do all the time. It's just habit... kinda like I won't get out of the car (as a passenger) until it's off unless I'm being dropped somewhere. Feels wrong otherwise for both.
