It's a complete habit - I don't even think about it. I feel naked without it -- doesn't matter how long or short the trip is. If there is a belt, I use it.Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.

I put mine on even if i back the car out of the garage, just a habit. I won't even move the car till everyone in there has one on. And while I'm sorry to hear about your friend seatbelts really do save many many lives when it comes to collisions, please keep that in mind.-Dan

I wont let the clutch out with being strapped in...and nobody rides without a belt.....period.
always been like that.
my own son was killed by not wearing his...........after every thing i taught him, i still cant believe it........

how uncomfortable is a full body cast and being in the hospitial for 8 months? bet its worse than a seat belt.............

I do all the time. It's just habit... kinda like I won't get out of the car (as a passenger) until it's off unless I'm being dropped somewhere. Feels wrong otherwise for both.
