first one was take at Southern Breeze Wolf ranch two days after Keona was born, her eyes were still closed...

the second on is of her and her brother...her brother on the left, in my friends house down in FLA (she owns Southern Breeze)

It's amazing how much she grew Has she finished filling out yet? How much does she weigh and is most of that weight from undigested frizbees

Can you give us an update on the rescue work from the fallout of Katrina. I fear that it has been ~1 month people have completely forgot all the pets left behind that will be euthanized due to no homes. Are there any good stories about any wolf dogs rescued your organization helped with . I cout imagine a dog pound finding out that a dog is part wolf, with so many animals needing new homes, they'd be the first to be overlooked

she's pretty much done growing now, brian. she's around 31" at the shoulders, very long and lean, about 90lbs....

the rescue stuff is still going on, all the major organizations and the smaller ones, like ours, continue to send teams down for two weeks at time... its not forgotten, trust me. there are temporary kennels set up all over the country now... you can do some searchs for katrina dogs and find all the adoptables. the ones that have tags are still trying to be traced to owners, some had micro chips too, those are scanned and then the owners can be traced.
