wow that is a nice retirement home. Imagine how many Wolf dogs you can stow at the Kennels Just a note - make sure wolf-dogs are not in some screwy by-laws or strange residency requirements . Also look into seeing if you can add on a garage, if it's even allowed. How old is the house, septic system etc,

Man it's a good time to get out of the gvt now

I say go for it and enjoy your retirement, by the time your mid 60's come around ill health and family genetics kick in, enjoy it while you're capable

the guy that lived there before had 4 wolfdogs, thats what the kennels were for.. and yes, you can build a garage, but .....if i bought it..i'd sell the farm equipment and turn the barn into a garage...its big enough for 5 cars.

lets hope no "ill" anything sets in at my mid 60's..... hope my workout routine an diet will curb that....

speaking of which, the upper part of the barn will have to be turned into a gym......... LOL

              now......

with my fed. tax emempt 501(c)3 that i have for WRR, the kennel area and land can be written off........hmmmmmmm

Ken - It's sounds great, and knowing you wouldn't have to put any major money into it for a while makes it even better.

If you can get the deal you want and the taxes aren't out of this world, then check it out... You only live once. You deserve it.

Ken,how close is it to work? Is it a situation where you could commute for a year or two if you couldn't afford to retire right now? What's Mary say?
