    I love to fly (licensed pilot since '82), I've even been know to jump out of a few airplanes, but there is no way I'd be taking a walk on this thing...

    '87 Camaro - 2.8L MPFI, 700R4 swapped to T5, B&M Ripper Shifter, Dynomax Super Turbo muffler, CATCO high flow cat, K&N air filters, 180 degree thermostat w/200-180 fan switch, 3.42 rear end, Global West steering brace, polyurethane bushings/trans mount, Spohn adjustable torque arm.

        its not that freaky looking... 71 million pounds...I don't think you will have anything to worry about.

            that is bada$$. I guess i will go and see the grand canyon now!

                It's not the intellectual part of my brain that would be worried. It's the instinct part that gets the heebee jeebies.

                I wonder how long it will take after it opens before someone BASE jumps off it? 4000 ft up, that's a lot higher than any building or bridge. Winds and obstuctions might be a problem...not to mention security...

                          It says they used over 1 million pounds of steel in the project. It is not solid glass I'm sure. And, you are probably right...I can already see the base jumpers planning a jump!

                              Now that would be cool! They used to have a ride like that at AstroWorld in Houston. I think it was a type of plexiglass though.
