Buddy Doug ran a 9.60 on 10" tire chevelle in the 1/4. no wheel tubs, no juice, no boost. Original 70 SS chevelle car. only one thing is fiberglass its the hood. he has all the parts. he unbolts the cage, seats, motor, and hood, and it back to a number matching car. thought i share this.

9's on a N/A motor and its "all stock"....... I don't see how thats possible. What motor does he have? I had a 68 SS 396, cammed, rollers, twin holley 780's on an eldebrock aluminum high rise, secondary gear drive squirter, 4:11's, and I was lucky to run the low 12's......no back seat and empty trunk...

There are gobs of guys with stock chassis/stock body Chevelles in the 9's. Get with the times Wolfy! But, yes the motors are not stock. A friend of mine has a 1971 Chevelle all steel body with a full mild steel cage running 9.90's with a solid roller 360" SBC. He just bracket races it.
