Sounds a lot like the real thing...Even the smoke from the crash is realistic!

I had the priviledge of watching a similar one out at the Sebring racetrack. Years ago there was a model airport adjacent to the Sebring racetrack/airport. I was able to see a few really neat planes including a B-52. Sadly, it crashed as well, but not a severe as that last video.

That is way cool! It about made me to see it crash. It didn't look like it flew too well when it took off or there was a stiff cross wind.

I wonder how they made that model smoke look so realistic?

Strange that they tried to fly it in such heavy winds. After the push it got on the inital takeoff I'm surprised they didn't just wait for better conditions.

It's a problem with real B-52's as well. As a fix they designed the main landing gear to remain aligned with the runway while the plane crabbed against the wind.
