  • XboX 360 forum, I am now stupider for reading

I just registerd up my Gametag and stuff getting ready for the xbox 360 on tuesday. So I went over to the forums and decided to read some peoples opinions. Now I am a computer engineer (5 years of school and a degree to prove it) and the things people come up with and say is just incredable. I highly doubt that there are more than 50 people on that forum over the age of 25. And now I feel as though my brain cells have been weakened due to my time there. All they do is bash onanother constantly over the stupidest stuff. One guy writes that the 360 looks better on HDTV, which to me seems like a fair statment, as HDTV is quite nice (not an opinion I actualy have HDSat and a HDTV) then everyone just jumps all over him saying he is an ass for braging about having an HDTV. This is just one more example of why I love this forum, I can express an "opinion" without getting bashed for my thoughts. Anyone else getting an Xbox 360? opinions or thoughts? "No Flaming"
    LOL

That sounds like so many other f-body forums. It's unreal the lack of maturity that runs rampant all over the net. I can't tell you all how much I appreciate the members of this forum.

I'd like to have an xbox360, but it's just a tad too expensive for my poor ass. Rather keep saving for my custom long tubes, etc. Video game forums are rediculous, buncha e-thugs who are really little nerds who think they know all.

I browse a few other forums but don't post a whole lot and I always get a kick out of it. I'd love to see these guys who go at it actually say that stuff in each others faces. I just got an idea for a reality TV show .

I'd bet if you ran into one of those guys at a gathering or something you'd be complimented on your car and how good of shape its in. I think the internet is just a way for some guys to be the tough guy or bully because in real life they can't be.

I'm not a real big coffee drinker but I gotta have my Dew in the mornings. I entered plenty of codes for the "Every 10 Minutes" contest to win a 360 but no luck. I've heard they are like $500 loaded?

One more reason I dont post there much even though I know its thirdgen based, which is what i have, but I much prefer the company here. You guys(and girls) all seem to be a good group. Its hard to find nice people in public never mind the net. Congratz to all of you for being level headed, nice people.
