I have the PC 7424 but I only use it on my boat. I still find it's easier to do the car by hand. Is Sal changing his mind about applying Zaino with a buffer? In case your interested, here is a thread with information about applying Zaino with a buffer http://www.autopia-carcare.com/zaino.html (Look towards the bottom of the thread).

yes, but not so much the application of it as using it with his fusion to remove swirls... i dont car how carfull you are or what you use on a black car, you get swirls.....i want my finish perfect...no exceptions.....

I did use my PC buffer just last week with the Zaino Fusion on my black SS......it's the only time I have ever used it on the car. I also tried putting it on by hand and results were about the same. At first I thought it did a pretty good job. But then when I got it in sunlight I was somewhat disappointed because I could still see some marks. Maybe on your newer paint it will work just fine or maybe my paint needs something a bit more aggressive to start with than the Fusion.

Ironically, I have a bottle of 30 year old Liquid Ebony (I bought that stuff to use on my Black 73 Charger ) that I tried after that with the PC orbital and it did an even better job of removing the swirls than the Fusion. Liquid Ebony is a product designed to be used with a buffer to remove swirl marks. I don't even know if it's made anymore or where you can get it.

BTW.......if you want to get the buffer itself without the pads, this is the cheapest place I have found (it's where I bought mine). http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/S...htm?E+coastest
