  • Question on conceiving I need help

Hey guys I have a serious ?. Me and my wife have been trying for a year now and we havent been able to conceive yet. We both have been tested and the doc's say were ok. They say that there is a procedure called IUI. Basicaly she takes a drug which makes her ovulate and monitor her and they take my deposit( ) and insert it in the uterus. Does anyone have any information or experience regarding this procedure?? Any help would be appreciated...

"When at first you don't succeed try try again."

My wife says for both of you to quit your jobs and go live in a trailer park. You'll have plenty of kids then.

seems to me that's what you've been doing on your own for a year now. Over a year you've only had 12 shots at it, so I say just give it a little more time.

actually thats the worst thing you can do, its like reusing a tea bag. get a fertility moniter, you can get one at walmart, save your baby gravy till then, (no treats for yourself either) & no re-usin the tea bag, then when shes fertile, go for it.

Damn, sounds like what my brother and his fiance are going through. I feel horrible for them though. She took a pregnancy test, found out she was pregnant, then had a miscarriage the next friggin day. That sucked. My brother nearly drank himself to death.

You could always look into an invetrofertilization clinic if things don't work. Good luck man. Keep trying.

Buddy at work is in the same boat. His wife is forty I believe. They tried the same procedure with good results. He said it might take a few cycles before you get results. So don't get discouraged. Good luck...

If you wear breifs, then go with boxers or no skivvy shorts at all for a while. If you wear breifs, your nuts are too close to your body and they might be too hot for live sperm. Sounds silly, but it's true. Hang loose & procreate

Thats what were doing. They said to try the IUI. Its like 1600 buck for a cycle. Its alot of $ but I think its a small price to pay. Not to get all mushy and all but we just want a rugrat so bad..

                          thanks
