dood... there's just trees in the picture. How can you say that scenery isn't Detroit? We have trees here... I suppose that may be contrary to popular opinion but we do indeed have trees...

I'm not sure how you can say that's not detroit scenery. The leaves on the trees are starting to change color and the people are wearing fall clothes. Most likely just a van from california that drove to detroit. And who's to say the design studio they used isn't in california, if it truly is a california picture?

I think I agree. quality on Chryslers depends on design and model.

Here in Mexico, Spirits were accepted as good practical transportation. Same for Trucks overall.

For the Challenger, I would prefer not to be built, or at least in this "modern retro" interpretation which in the end is not close to the real thing. Body is not proportionate to the old one. Same for the Mustang. Awfull for the Charger. I dont know for next Camaro if ever and Great for the Ford GT, Which to me looks very close to the original, sad for the price.

In the end I think I live in year 2006. Why depart from aerodynamics? Maybe a lack of creativity? My ´97 Camaro looks like a Daytona prototype to me, only more proportionate.

If I wish aretro, better to look for the original car.
1997 z28 ex Pony Express racer ( amateur rally and track day car now ) w/ 383 LT1, V1-T s/c, Victor Jr. heads, Engle custom cam, Accel DFI, Alcon 14" / Baer 13" brakes, Strange rr. axle. Full roll cage, seats and belts.

´71 Camaro L-48 ex-vintage track day racer clone, ´71 AMC Javelin, ´69 Plymouth Barracuda 340 clone, ´70 Barracuda project car, ´69 Shelby Mustang GT350 project car, ´94 Mustang GT s/c track day car.

Self portrait: Nowadays more a collector than a racer . Still crazy for those Trans-Am races.
