  • microfiber users, heads up

Sal Zaino and I had conversation last week about the pro's and cons' of microfiber towels for finishing....and detailing... as you know, there are many out there that are 'underpar' and will put swirls in your clear coat...

Now that i'm hooked on the porter-cable polisher/buffer...it does an awesome job of on application of swirl removers, and also application of polish itself...and many like it for removal, or final buffing.. I prefer doing the last step by hand... being a Zaino user, thats easy anyway..and by doing it by hand, you get a real appreciation for the job you just just did... kinda like ...babying the finish...LOL...
anyway, he gave me heads up on the an absolute awesome microfiber finishing towel...after i read up on it, i ordered two from the net...(autoutopia ).

the neat thing about it, if you notice, is it has fine naps, like a regular cotton towel... the one thing I had gripes about with even the fine microfiber finishing towles I got from the Pakshak in Hawaii is sometimes you had to keep going over the same spot to pick up all the residue...and the same with using detailing spray or zaino's new ultimate spray detail... but this works like cotton...only its soooooooo fine......

anyway..thought I'd share. They are right under 12 bucks a piece...this one's still in the wrapper...
