Pearl Harbor wasn't really a success in the eyes of the Japanese. They failed to sink our carriers, which was their number #1 priority. They did cause enough damage to piss us off and kick their ass's, though..

"I fear that all we have accomplished is waking up a sleeping giant." or something like that. Man, was he right, or was he right?

That day will never be forgotten by me....neither will 9/11. And damn the Japanese of that era for such a cowardly attack. They got what they deserved.

When I was recently in California visiting my Mom, I saw some very disturbing displays on a few of the beaches. These people had placed a small white cross for every US soldier that had died in the Iraq War. But, they were not honoring them or praising them for their heroic and brave efforts...they were instead making an insulting mockery of our nation and the brave men and women by saying they had died in vain because we had no right to be over there in the first place. I was going to say something to them, but my Mom being the peacemaker she is persuaded me not to. Where do these radical, freaks of nature come from?? It really is sad that some people just cannot grasp the entire reality of true freedom.

God Bless our soldiers past and present!

Kev, I was in Santa Barbara a few weeks ago and saw that too. It was to the right of Stearns Wharf (off of State St.?) on the beach, right?

I did see a brand new Z06 there, which made be a bit happier.

Yeah, that was one of them. Then we went down to Santa Monica Pier where the Ferris Wheel is and there was nearly the identical display there as well.

I also saw alot of very bad (_|_) cars in SB and Carp.
