i was standing there, gazing though my glass door into my garage. drooling over the brillant red and chrome bird. just sitting there itching to be driven. the fine lines, raised hood, and chrome exhaust tips left me at an ahh. i was alomst tempted to take it for a spin. then i looked out of my garage to my driveway. which was covered in 6 inches of snow and on to my road which was covered in salt. i hate winter. i hate that my car has been parked for weeks and this will continue for a few more months. its only going to get worse.

I know your itching to drive it... but Don't... Put a cover on it and that way in the spring it's like you've got a big present to open... I put mine in my sister's garage for the winter, that way I don't have to look at it sitting there.

Go buy a snowmobile and have some fun with this white crap. Don't worry spring will be here in 4 months....

Norht of Philadelphia got about 7 inches of snow yesterday, it was a mess. Im ucky enough to have my Grandfathers old 88 f-150 to drive it realy bad weather. I made room for the camaro to sit in the garage for the weekend until the salt and snow is off the roads.

I saw a kid around the corner driving his silver 97 transam in that crap yesterday and beleive me, you dont want your car looking like his. I couldnt beleive how awful it looked, all that muck in the wheel wells and on the front end, the back was brown and the wheels were white and black.

I feel you dude. Here in Dearborn we got like 6 the other day, and we're supposed to get more today. I'm double dyin' over here. I'm DYING to ride my rocket. I would give anything to be rich enough to trailer it down to florida and just stay there for a month. No other mode of transport, just the bike.

I hate winter as well man. I can't wait until this is through.

You think that's depressing, normally I have my car stored in the deep freeze like you all, but since I blew the head gasket racing in October and I had that ongoing blowby problem, I have been getting ready to build another engine for it. I need some parts off the engine, so it had to come out. So I spent yesterday pulling the engine out of it in a one car garage with no heat, no room, and almost no light, with the car half backed out in the snow. My cherry picker was too short to reach over the front end which made the job a lot harder, and I had no help. Then when the engine was out, I drained the rest of the chocolate goo out of it, which used to be synthetic Mobile 1 before it got mixed with the antifreeze. The garage floor, the tools, and the metal parts of the car were all too cold to touch, so it was miserable working on it. Today I'm going to pull the pan and the pistons to see what was causing the blowby adn low compression in one of the cylinders (stuck or broken rings, etc.) Anyway heres a couple bad pics of the procedure...
