what a messy day

Well this has been a mess that has been going on for almost a month now, i bought my car last month and the next day i had the appt. for my road test(dont ask my mother is a procrastinator ) well i have to use my friends 04 ford focus for the test so last mnth we couldnt even find the place so we got there late and made it for today well this time we got there ok, but her inspection sticker expired 3 days ago so they wouldnt let me take it so we called the dmv again and found a appt for tomorrow morn at 8:30. but theres more we brought her car to her mech., a lil gas stat that she uses and they did a tune up on her car last week too and we gave him a list of probs w/ the car, on the way to the test her radio just completely died and seconds after that the engine light came on i was driving and i didnt feel anything really out of the ordinary with the fact that she has 3 bent rims, and her brakes were shot turns out the rear brake line snaped and the car cant be inspected until everything is fixed so now i dont have a car for the road test b/c her lovely little ford isnt going to be ready for another day or two and i cant use my car b/c i still have the intransit plates from when i picked it up from maryland and its a 6spd, in ny its really tough taking the test in a stick

it wasnt my mom it was my friend and shes a space cadet i guess you can say, she doesnt see curbs and rides the brakes like no tomorrow

ooo i understand you on that one i had her get a tune up last week, she beats it down alot and lets other people just destroy that thing so there wasnt really much i couldve done about the cond of the car and hey what doesn't kill ya just makes ya stronger, im just hoping i could find a car by tomorrow morn to use b/c i also start school on the 19th and i need my car on the road and me being allowed to take it legaly

they circled the problem. im not sure how new york law is, but i took my test on my boss's repair tags. kinda cool showing up and the inspector is admiring how nice the 1977 K10 is in. told me stories bout when he used to have one and wishes he could get another one. he passed me on everything and told me to tell my boss if he sells it he'll buy it.

well i got to take the test today but i didnt pass on fri im trying again, i did great today except one thing unfortunatly a major thing she told me after the next stop sign make a left and it was the end pretty much so i stopped and 20ft up was a rd to make a left and 50ft from that there was another rd well i went in the first rd which happened to be a oneway but the sign for it was bent on an angle b/c nys is to cheap to fix anything and there was no markings anywhere else saying oneway so i missed the sign and went in and when i was coming out of the rd i saw a sign for in and knew right away i blew it and the inst. didnt say a thing when i did it, apparently they do that alot to people pretty much everyone i know who has taken the test there told me about it of course today lol thanks for the warning

Well, there's always Friday . Just take it as a lesson learned. Heck, I almost failed when I took my test in the GN...instructor said the car was too powerful for me. Eh, what did he know? lol

Better luck next time, no biggie though. I've done that once or twice on one ways that weren't marked or were marked poorly. A one-way driveway a couple of weeks ago, as a matter of fact.
