Has anyone ever used IBIZ? Before I get scolded on why I should go with Zaino, I just ordered the $84 Zaino kit for myself as a gift from my parents. They didn't know where or how to order it, so they had me do it for them.

The reason I'm asking about IBIZ, is a friend of mine swears by it. He bought a similar kit to mine, but it cost him upwards of $100. He has a '68 Charger show winner, and won't even try Zaino, though he admits it is a great product. I read on their website it's a "fossilized carnuba". The word carnuba turned me away immediately.

His car looks great, but it's one of the brightest reds I've ever seen. Seeing depth would be tough. Anyone have any experience with it?

i tried/tested it years ago. it has solvents so it does not layer. and the carnuba bright shine you get after application was gone in less than 8 min. when i did the running water test on it. its been around for ages... if he has that good of a paint job, too bad he won't try zaino...after 3 layers or so...it really brings out the true brilliance of the paint below.

Good to know. He's just set in his ways. His paint is just under two years old. He paid over $5,000 for the paint job and it looks like he got a deal on it. Just an awesome finish. Hopefully he'll take one look at my black T/A after I've Zainoed it all winter in the garage and change his tune.
