Checking in
It's been a while since I've posted, and figured I'd post since I actually have a chance. So everyone can get the gist of what’s going on, I’ll summarize quickly. I’ve now been attending WyoTech for 3 months now, my first time at any type of secondary school. I don’t have a computer ‘cuz I bought the T/A, and my roommates don’t want to pay for internet, so I have no computer access at home. At school, there are certain web restrictions they put on us, including forum sites. Today though, they are unlocking it as a sort of end of phase privilege.
On Friday I take my finals, and I am done with the applied service management portion of my studies, and will have an Associate’s Degree (yes, degree, not certificate) in Specialized Technology with Business Management. On Saturday, I fly from Denver to Chicago, and I’ll finally get to go home. I get a week off, and then it’s back to school to start my automotive class. I start out in Engine Management Systems 1 when I come back.
I’ve been so busy with work. Never in my life have I had this type of workload. Since I have night classes, and get out at almost 2 am, I’ve been pretty used to working long after the sun rises. It’s gonna be pretty sweet actually finishing this off. I cannot complain though with receiving an associate’s degree in three months though.
Figured I’d pop back in since I actually have a chance. Also wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year if I don’t get a chance to come back on. I will be home though for a week, so I’m sure I’ll pop back in when I’m home.
