Yes, I have a 1986 Pontiac Tojan. Was wanting to know if anyone else had a Tojan???
My Tojan was purchased new from Stadium Pontiac in Tustin, CA and I'm the second owner. It is a 305 TPI with an automatic transmission and performance suspension. It currently has 65,500 original miles. Cool digital display and walnut burl woodgrain dash. Also, Recaro seats and Gotti wheels. It's fun to drive and it gets lots of looks everywhere I go. Commisioned by GM, Knudsen Automotive produced 300 Tojan's from 1986 to 1991 and were sold through Pontiac Dealers.
Two of these cars were used in 1988 movie, "Collision Course" staring Jay Leno and Pat Morita.
In the movie the car was called a "Jarryd Starburst".
In 1978 Russell Knudsen founded Knudsen Automotive in Omaha, Nebraska. He first began building an Excalibur like car called the Baroque. Although very little information on these cars is available, it is believed that they were based on a Mercedes or Rolls Royce chassis. They were pieced from $80,000 up to $250,000, and took over six months to build just one. Knudsen Automotive also built the car named “Kit” in the TV show Knight Rider. Knudsen will be bring out a 640 HP V8 Mustang this spring, so watch for it.

Just wondered if anyone else out there had a Tojan also???1986 Pontiac Tojan, 305 TPI, 700R4, Digital Walnut Burl Dash, Recaro Seats & 65K miles.
