There are people everyday that will challange and exploit the Windows program and B. Gates , thus giving us a better product , we must remember that Windows is an monopoly and for years we've been given junk, example the Microsoft Interenet Explorer.

You spends hundreds of bucks on an operating system etc and ya still not safe,

Spend more money on virus protection and still not safe!

Brings me back to the old question who produces these viruses?!

Is it the spotty teen geek next door?
Is it the Virus protection software companys? Trying to make more bucks?
Is it Mr Withers off Scooby Doo?
Is it Mr Burns off The Simpsons?

I just wonder how much time and money these viruses cost a year?

Hey, get this...Microsoft has an anti-spyware program. It's free and it's actually pretty decent. I have it running on my machine. The program is in beta testing now, but as soon as the final release hits I've heard they are going to charge for it. Call me strange, but I think it's a bit odd to have to pay for a program to fix the problems with the operating system they put out.

Oh...they just released a security fix today I think. Don't know if it's the same one you all are talking about, but it wouldn't hurt to download it anyway.

Since Microsoft engineers the programs with the security defects in place, the first person to suspect is Microsoft employees.
