  • Should I??

Driving home from the movie rental passing the chevrolet dealer. I immediately turned around after seeing an '02 camaro SS. Its Black with red/black emblems, t-tops, leather, 6-speed, and only 13,000 miles!!!

I wish I could sell mine for like 9 and put a down payment on it. I would die though for the rest of the payments . Maybe I can talk my pops into buying himself the nicer camaro . Im going to go drive it tommorow, so I'll post again and let you know how it goes. Im goingto drive it hard so I hope the salesman's ready. Muwahaha

Drving an LS1 after owning an LT1 is kinda like the "Once you go black, you'll never go back"(car color or skin color, take your pick )theory.

Worth a test drive at least!

Red/black emblems may mean it's been modified in the past, take a close look! Would be nice if you could talk to the last owner.

Doylestown,PA ... I may have mentioned this before, but my current car had 2 owners there.

The test drive went well today. The car was completely stock and very nice. The guy let me take it out by myself and just said "now dont beat on it" I really iked the feel of the leather seats, I think they made it feel a little stiffer suspension wise. I gave it about three runs 1-2-3 full throttle and only noticed that it pulled much harder through third. All together they offered me three grand for my car which looked better than the SS at the time because it was polished and the SS was really dirty. They took my car out for a drive also when I got back to appraise it. Oh well.

It was nice to drive it but I really am in love with the LT1 feel. With the prothane trans mount, BMR trans brace, and short thrower I love the feel of an older muscle car.

I am now tempted to get an SS hood, rear spoiler and leather seats!

A lot of the parts you mentioned would transfer directly over to the newer car. Swap out the shifter, tranny mount, short stick, etc.. You could easily get more than 3 grand for your car. I sold my 96 Z28 A4 with 127,000 and a rebuilt tranny last summer for 6,000. It was in very good shape though. I'm the dealer would love to buy it for 3,000. Heck, I'd probably take it for $3,000 and I'm not even in the market.

Maybe the whole sentence is: 'once you go black , you never go back because what you had before wont take you back. ever'
