We host lots of car gatherings in KC specifically for what you say. We are centralized. If you guys need any help setting up anything, just let me know. I even know the 1/4 drag strip owner. I can also reserve a shelter house at one of the local lakes. I love doing that. Just let me know.

Well, when's the best time of year for a track day in regards to weather and such? Now that I have paid time off, I can afford to do such things . I call dibs at Norm's place lol

I think the best thing would be for you guys to pick a couple of ranges of time. The track is pretty expensive to rent, but if you guys didn't want to go that route, it could always be something where we could just show up on grudge night.

Ideally, what I have found works the best is, show up on Wednesday night or Thursday. Schedule Friday and official event day having a track event that night. Saturday, car show and shine and shoot the crap with your buds. Works best at the lake. Having a "designated" hotel where everyone can hang out in the parking lot and have some comradery is the ideal scenario. Sunday is used for departure and travel. Just an idea.

I'm in, but just like Tracy, maybe only if it's a 12 hour drive from here...otherwise, I'd probably have to fly. Last thing I need is to put a whole lot more miles and stress on a car with over 110k.

OO yea the KC area would be jsut great considering that I am aobut 1 hr away (haha), and also the idea of june to august so the high school/college people won't have a problem. Well i don't no what it would cost to rent but here in Topeka about 1hr from kc, we have Heartland Park and every other Wensday during spring-summer we have Test N Tune. I would be down for St. Louis. This is only one out of a few times in my young life I am glad i live where i do, haha
