We need to get more people as driving half way across the country for a 10 person meet up is pretty pointless. Ken, Joe, Fred? Where are you guys? Would you guys be interested in this? Everybody chime in. We need to know who's interested and who isn't.

Exactly, 10-12 people hardly seems worth it to drive for 26 hrs. Also, this needs to be centralized, as was already stated, to make it fair for people coming from either coast. Events in Michigan obviously don't fit this.

The 10-12 person problem is exactly the reason I suggested the Dream Cruise.

I'd be far more interested in going to a major pre-existing event where we all meet up as opposed to just scheduling an f-body.com specific event where it's just us hanging out.

The WDC is something that you can have fun at all week long even if you were by yourself. Before we say Michigan is "too far" we might want to take into account the locations of the people who are interested. Detroit may not be as central as KC, but if most people who are interested are on the east coast, then it's obviously the more sensible location.

Anyway, I'm not trying to push my home turf or anything here - the WDC seriously is the biggest and best automative event in the country every year (did you read the stats? 40,000 cars...) ... something I hope you all get to experience at some point... if not, oh well. I'll certainly be going either way.

I'm in NJ. Going anywhere more than 100 miles requires that I tow. In my current line of work, summer is the busiest time of the year, and its almost impossible to take time off.

I would love to wrap this around a vacation, but I suppose much would depend on the distance. To bring anything that really romps will require a trailer which I don't have anymore.

I would definately go to the Woodward Dream Cruise and meet up with you guys... I would also consider going somewhere further if a place is planned. It really depends on how busy work will be. So when you guys plan a date/time I will surely let you know.

I give you credit for it. I love my exhaust, but after driving for an hour straight (the longest trip I ever took w/ the LM set-up) I was ready to stuff the resonator full of fiberglass. It's actually not bad at anything above three grand, but right around 2,000 rpm's, that resonator goes right through me.

Even if 10 - 15 people show up, it would still be fun. How many chances do we have to get even that many of us together in 1 place?? Seriously, guys.. think about this:

Why are you going?

1) to see other F-bodies
2) to meet fellow board members

If you ask me, #2 gets my vote first, with #1 trailing a ways behind. I've seen tons of f-bodies, and we all are pretty familure with eachothers cars already. I want to meet the people behind the cars. If that means we fly or drive a sedan to get to the meet, that is no big problem.

How about Branson ,MO as a meeting place. We can plan a day of activities, a picnic at a park, a baseball game, etc. I hear there are tons of thing to do there. Maybe we caould all race eachother at a go-cart track. I can see having a blast that way! What better way to get to know eachother and do a little man-bonding?
