Grrrr! Government Mickey Mouse operations....

Last summer I seperated from active duty. I have a job lined up, but am for an investigation to finish so I can start. The investigation started last March. I'm still ...no word on when it will end! I performed the same job my last 2.5 years during active duty...some of it in a war zone...for the SAME orgainization. In addition he government owes me almost 3 grand for unused leave and I was just told it could be another 3 months till I see the money!

Has the world gone mad?!? I'm going to go outside to scream now....

I know how you feel, when I started working as a fresh new engineer, I took a position with AlliedSignal Aerospace. We were directly contracted by the DOE. We had to wait and do piddly jobs until we received our clearances. Some took 6 months, some took 4 years. I'm glad mine wasn't one of the longer ones.
