  • Workout guys, my injured arm.. nightrage. remember?

    Remember my post about my arm being very sore? I thought it was a fractured bone, or a pulled tendon or something. I finally got to see the Doctor about it. The X-rays are fine. He thinks I have inflammation in the arm, and he gave me this celebrex stuff. He said it's just from being overworked. It had to have been from working construction. Swining the hammer, using the nailgun, saw, carrying heavy lumber all day, etc...

    So nightrage if you still have this problem, lay off the arm totally for a couple weeks and take an anti inflammatory, that's what the Doc told me.

    He also wants me to have an MRI just to be sure there are no tears. But when he felt it, he said it felt tender, like it had inflammation.

    He said it can get serious if it isn't treated, I may even need a cast! Better look into this and stop pushing weight dude.

    Luckily, I haven't done my biceps in a long time. I'm actually going to start again today. I'm probably going to work out with my girlfriend's brother.

    If you want to hear something messed up, he's having the same problem you and I have/ had with his forearms. He's got shin splints too, due to overworking himself to get in shape so he can join the track team next year.. What's even worse is that he urinates protein. We've been wondering why he never seems to bulk up. The doctor said that if he took protein supplements, it would overwork his kidney to failure I think he's got me beat by a long shot. Poor freakin kid.

    Anti inflammatory pills never did much for me, but I hope they do something for you, bro. Nothing's worse than being into weight lifting and having to skip days for reasons beyone your control. Good luck man!

      im nursing a possible rotator cuff, side tear... but i can do alot of different stuff still......one of my workout friends is an orthopedic guy, he says he does not think its rotator, from my mobility.......

      tell ya, the older you get, the worse it gets..... but you keep going...work around it till it heals.......
