  • Running Inury...

Wondering if any of you guys have dealt with this. Pain in the balls of the feet. I had increased the length of my runs and time and resistance on the orbital machine as well. Since then I've swapped my shoes to a wider width and foresaken any type of exersize that will put pressure on them. Closest thing I can place it with is metatarsalgia.

Annoying, but not too bad...I'm on temporary medical insurance between jobs and really don't want to see a doc unless it's necessary...

oooo.... sounds familiar. Mine was due to a few nerves getting pinched by the bones in the foot. A shot of cortisone and a little rest and all is fine. That can be uncomfortable to say the least.

Thanks for the input Joe...I think maybe my shoes at the time were a little too narrow. That coupled with the increased workout time didn't do any good. I'll give it a few weeks rest. If it goes on I may stop by a doctor.

Just last year as a matter of fact. But I know what you mean.
