  • Back on stage, Wooohooo!

Got a call to go back to my Themepark gig.... Cypress Gardens. For all you old timers, I'm opening for The Platters, The Drifters and The Coasters show. I don't have much of the details of their gig but is sounds like a tribute to that era of music. Anyway, it's great to be back on stage.

The precceding announcement was merely a shameless plug for myself as well as one more post.

Yeah, I think that was one of their tunes. Also scheduled to open for the Oak Ridge Boys the next day. Next month I play with the Benny Goodman Orchestra, as well as a tribute to the Beatles and in March with Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian. This should be interesting. Anytime I do these, I run into some strange people.

For all the other crap I have to deal with, at least I can say that in most ways, I'm livin' my dream.

I have a few degrees in music and play probably close to a dozen instruments. Mainly I go for Keyboards or Trumpet, at the park I'll be using this $73,000 state of the art console......

Basically there isn't anything that I can't do on this piece of equipment, anything from Movie Scores to Hard Rock.

Looks like an antique version of the bridge on the ship on Star Trek (Enterprise)!

Do you have any recorded samples of your work? Sounds like a cool piece of equipment.

LOL, never heard that one. Usually it's comments like it looks like the bridge of the Enterprise, the cockpit of the space shuttle, etc. I know every button and switch as well as internal computer functions but to the average person, it must look totally amazing.
