Hows the weather down there? I'm leaving with my friend this Thursday for Florida for two weeks and can't wait. What should we expect 70's to 80's during the day and a little chillier at night? Also for any of you that fish this is about the right time of year to catch bass spawning right?

It's different everyday. One day (like today) itll be high 74 low 55ish, the next will be high 84 low 70, then the next day itll be high 62 low 40. Not consistant weather at all in the winter here. Today was beautiful though. I don't think it's supposed to get cold(er) again this week.

It all depends on where you go. Florida is a funny state..... up in norther Florida it gets below freezing on a regular basis. At the same time, south central Florida would be 10-15 degrees warmer. Where ya goin? The regular tourist traps like the mouse house?

I'm going to be in central Florida in Hillsborough county. We may go to a few of the tourist traps lol, but we are mainly going for the fishing and hunting. My grandparents on both sides live down there during the winter and my Grandparents who live in PA half the year got my friend and I a place to stay near them. My other Grandparents are just north of us in Homosassa and we will be going up there some but won't be able to stay there overnight since we are taking a bass boat down and the community my grandfather lives in doesn't allow for something like that to be parked outside plus I'd feel a little weird about coming into my grandfathers house after being out for the night lol. We have some private land to hunt hogs on but are trying to find somemore incase that property doesn't turn out know of any Joe ?

I'm going to be in central Florida in Hillsborough county.

that is on the west coast of Florida, specifically the greater Tampa area. Temps there are moderate, it should be in the upper 40-50s at night, daytime should be 60-high 70s.

For bass fishing, Lake Thonotosassa is on the edge of Hillsborogh county and is a prime spot.

I missed saying west central . We are going to be a very short drive from where the Gulf of Mexico comes into Florida (that big inlet thing lol). Do you know of any good beaches around there? Also this lake Thonotosassa how big is it and do you know if it has any regulations (boat size\motor)?
