I hear ya, Ken. New England drivers are reknown for not paying attention. My Father almost lost his leg because some woman t-boned him when I was young. He was cruising down a main road, and this woman just shot out of a side road in her enormous 70's Buick. Hit him directly on his left leg. He was in the hospital for months.

I've always liked bikes, but could never bring myself to buy one after that.
