I've had one and my Mother had one as well. It's a good, solid motor. Didn't give me any trouble in the 45K I put on it, and my Mother had over 100K on hers. Great engine for a daily driver.

my mom has one and its been good and so far we've put almost 22K in just a year and a half. i know its not to much but it's still drives like it did when she got it
Is it the same 3.1 in 3rd gen f-bodies? It had a 3.1 and it had 257K on the clock when I sold it. Had a bad water pump and I drove it 57 miles with no coolant. Put a new pump on and sold it for $800 bucks. LOL!!! I'm sure it was dead now, but man, it wouldn't stop kicking. All it had was a new altenator, plugs and wires...oh and that WP.
