Yeah, I'm a huge Conquest fan. I want THAT in my car. I've been seriously considering finding a cheap LT1 to drop into that car, get rid of a lot of my problems. Why not LS1? Mods are way too expensive for that thing.

Swapping out the mitsu engine? lol! Another Mitsubishi product that frustrates an owner.

On a side note, my bet is if his clutch holds the rear will let go. Still a nice conversion but only done half way. An entire driveline swap should have been done.

True, I'm not sure what kind of power that car makes, but the rear end on those cars are great. Really nice. Few guys putting down 500 to the rear wheels with no problems on a stock rear end.

My father-in-law must have a factory freak of a mitsu because he owns a 2001 Eclipse Spyder with the 3.0 V6 and Manumatic that has over 200K on the clock. And get this...He hasn't touched that car under the hood other than oil changes and such. It is all stock...No problems whatsoever. I am sure it is not running as well as it was when he bought it as far as performance is concerned but it still starts right up and goes through all the gears nice.
