    Favorite childhood toy:

    Back in 1980 I was 7 when this lego kit was released. I did chores around the house to save up enough to buy it for myself. Over the years the original kit got broken and lost. I cant begin to count how many times I smashed that car up and rebuilt it. Pieces would fly everywhere, it even went down the stairs.

    I found this on Ebay and bought it last week. Puting it together was a real trip back in time for me. It had a working 4 cylinder boxer engine, 3 speed gear box, differential, steering, rear suspension and seats. I learned a lot of mechanical concepts with this model.

    i remember those days. i was a huge lego fan as a kid. I can remember spending an entire day inside with a friend on a rainy day playing lego's.

              Nice. I loved legos as a kid. I'm anxiously for my kids to get into that age. They're a bit young still. Probabaly a year or two more and we'll be good to go.

                    Me...I wan an Erector (sp?) set fanatic. Funny thing is...I still have them. I would build motorized anything. Vehicles were always my favorite.
