Well after a pre-approved check came in the mail from my bank for the purchase of a new vehicle, I decided to get a new one. Fourth gear in the tranny was starting to slip and the engine was starting to knock more and more, so I decided it was time to go. I started looking at different cars, well not really. I did look at my bills, to see what I would be able to afford, did not want to cut myself short, decided I could swing the full 38,500 I was approved for. I did not use it all though. I traded in the camaro, I owed 4990, they paid it off, and I got the GTO for 32,500 with the Z28 paid off. I think I got a good deal.
Sorry to abandon the f-body's, but I had to do it and I love the car. The camaro was my baby, don't get me wrong, a LOT of memories with that car. A LOT of women too! But I liked the GTO, test drove one, and from there it was on to finding the colors I liked and starting the paperwork.
They found one I wanted in Marlyand, which they trucked down at on additional fee to me. The only problem I have with it is the front license plate bracket, so thursday the dealer is going to remove it, fill in the holes, and repaint the whole front bumper, no charge.
That is suede that goes from the bottom part of the doors, under the dash, in the center console and back to the other door.
So what do you guys think?!
Ken, I know you should like it, as a fellow GTO driver!
I'll take more pictures later, the camera was acting up.
